This coat was made from a vintage wool and cotton coverlet. The intricate jacquard design was completed by hand with great attention to detail. The coverlet itself is light to medium weight, making this a great late fall, early spring coat.

It is one-of-a-kind.

The design of the coat was chosen to fit a variety of bodies, with no buttons or zippers and loose around the hips.

The exact age of the coverlet is unknown. Please note that there are a few discolorations that could not be removed during cleaning. Remember: this is a vintage blanket that has seen many decades of love.

This coat fits a medium/large. Depending on your measurements, it might fit oversized or a little closer to your body.

Care Instructions
If needed, please hand wash only in wool wash. I recommend Eucalan Unscented. Soak in cool water, agitate and let sit for 20 minutes. Lay flat to dry.

The maker of this quilt took great care to weave this design. Please be gentle when wearing this coat and take proper care when choosing to hand wash.
